I think i'm gonna finally wire my reverse lights in the prado tails to work this week.

 

I need to start taking my interior out and getting it cleaned. I'm taking it all out minus the dash.

Also need to source a seatbelt for the passenger side, I don't think the whole "seat belts have a lifetime warranty" is a real thing, that I've always heard about.

SAIS bypass ordered. Mine has a slight shopvac sound at cold startup. Not very loud, but since it’s on sale...

I don’t have a GX. Mine’s a 100 series which would be an LX470 if it was a Lexus.

It did come from the southeast though!

 

I’ve got some weather tech window visors that I took out of my GX, $80 and I’ll cover shipping if anyone is interested. Maybe a month or so old.

 

Do the clip in or use adhesive?

 

I think I’m gonna use Maxlife ATF when I do the transmission flush. WS is too damn expensive.

 

People are weird about the transmission flushes with these GXs it seems like. Some are adamant about doing it all the time, and others say you’re never supposed to do it with these trucks.

 

Same shit different vehicle. “Lifetime” means the life of the transmission. I’d like to extend it out as far as possible lol.

I’ll drain and drop the pan and hopefully the shit isn’t black. Otherwise a full flush might make things worse.
