I sold my 21 TRD Pro 4Runner for 13k over msrp.

I just sold my 2020 Raptor for 2k more than I paid 3 months ago from a dealer.

    Market is crazy AF.

Haven't yet, rented a Jag F-Type through Turo until I figure it out. I'm looking at 911's.

Amazing what happens once you get divorced.

(I'm in no way advocating for anyone to end their marriage, mine was just toxic and costly, now its my turn to enjoy my life how I choose)

If you're running 285s, which tire are you using and do you like it?

I'm currently on Nitto Grappler G2s but I'm not really happy with them. They are either kinda loud or the GX is just too quiet so I hear the tire noise more. I did the lift, wheels and tires all at the same time. After several alignments it was still pulling to the right. We finally figured out it was a radial pull and swapped tires side to side. It now drives straight but I can never really rotate them for fear of causing pulling issues. I want to say they road forced a little high but I really can't remember.

Some tires I'm considering, only in SL:
Falken Wildpeaks, had them on the Tacoma and was happy but the GX is a different beast
    Pathfinder ATs
Toyo Open Country AT3, based on reviews on this site

Open to suggestions. Or maybe the Nittos are the best. Just don't have any experience with any other tire on the GX.

I’m running falken wildpeaks on both the taco and GX. Had to get a door tire carrier since anything over stock can’t fit in spare tire compartment (unlike the taco). The tires are great. Previously ran Cooper st maxx that kept pulling right. These are quieter and stay straighter.

I have a spare tire bracket made by Bash Fab that attaches to the 3rd row seat mount. So the spare is in the back cargo area. It's pretty handy.

I did like the Falkens on the Taco.

I've been partial to Ridge Grapplers since running them, I won't run anything else now.

    No he's a local fabricator, @01Tac0ma

He also made my front bumper and sliders.

Here's his facebook, try messaging him 155490903_2763096117148818_7934945192243_1dd1670db6eca81a06e1ff855a314769f5c27004.jpg

I'll get some photos of the mount in a bit.

Thanks, photos would be great as I'm in CT and can't really travel to SC at the moment. Maybe will try to replicate it myself.

He used OEM wheel studs and offset them so the tire doesn't touch the back of the seat. Also the rod that attaches to the 3rd row mount is slightly larger than the one on the 3rd row seat. So it's a very snug fit. If you want to remove the mount you have to wiggle the tire mount up and down. So it's very secure. The only slight issue is the smell of a new tire in the cabin but that goes away pretty quickly. And the cover still fits over the 3rd row mount.

That's exactly what I'm looking for, thanks! Such a good solution in place of spending $1500 or so on a swing-out carrier / bumper combo.

Anyone running a rear bumper with a swing-out tire carrier on their 460? Starting to look at options after realizing the trunk-mount isn't a perfect long-term solution (not that a full replacement rear bumper is, but keeping the cargo area open is increasingly important)
