Getting closer to a GX. Had two interviews with one company yesterday, and have an interview one day next week with another. Hopefully starting a new job next month or July at the latest.

 

Does anybody know of a complete dual battery kit that anybody sells? been looking and cant seem to find anything.

Well I found out the hard way this thing can't take the same lines my prerunner Taco did with its 6" lift tail light still works but the lens shattered. And that rear quarter panel ran through a cheese grader. That'll teach me to rush it!

Anyone ever swap tails from the older clear style to the later dark red? I have a 2015 GX that has clear tails and really like the dark red/smoke that came on the later model GX. Same body so I’m guessing it’s plug and play but wasn’t sure anyone has done it. Also not loving OEM Lexus pricing but if I could sell my clears; that would make a big difference.

 

yep I just swapped them on my 2015. Plug and play. Super simple.

 

That’s fantastic. I figured that was the case but wanted some feedback if anyone had done it. Did you order direct from Lexus? Keeping the clears as backup or selling?

 

I bought from Bell Lexus with their recent 17.76% off sale. I put the clear ones up for sale but no bites yet. I’ll keep em in storage for safe keeping.
It literally takes 30 seconds to swap the 460. So easy. Two bolts each and a single plug.

 

Added an AFE CAI. Because V8 noises.

Have a few more under hood goodies coming soon.

 

I saw Bell Lexus has a set on EBay for 840. Such a steep price for lights unfortunately
