Nah, didn't bother when I saw AdvanceAuto was $100 cheaper. But who is it again?

I'm undecided on the 18" BFD's or 17" Type-X, either one will be in dark mag blue...275/70/18 and 285/70/17 tires are almost identical in price, only the wheels are more expensive...I have the 16" type x in the same color on my truck right now, love how light weight they are.

I have the type x on my taco (matte bronze) because of more tire options in 17”. Went with the 18” bfd because I didn’t want a heavy and stiff LT tire on the gx since it’ll really only see some forestry roads and that’s about it. Was formally in the tire industry for like 14 years so I put a lot of thought into it lol

edit: FYI I’m only going to run P275/65r18 ridge grapplers...

Probably going to do the 17's...not sure if I wanna do P or LT's yet...I drive 98% highway. I hear that P's have shit treadwear longevity...

Will be Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's whatever I get.

Better than these garbage Patagonia's I currently have on my truck. I guess there is a reason they only cost $780 for 5 of them.

Meh, P metric is built for SUV’s and light trucks. The treadwear will be good, LT’s are “overbuilt” per se, so they tend to last longer. But it can be tricky because you’ll normally keep about half of the air pressure the LT tire is designed to handle so it can lead to funky wear patterns.

I have E load on my Tacoma with around 40 psi and it seems to be the best balance of ride, wear, and fuel mileage. I’ve got like 30k on my ko2’s and they look perfect.

That being said, I didn’t want to deal with any of that on the gx so P metric it is haha
