I just got in some Philips H9 bulbs to compare in the real world vs the Hikari Ultra's. Will post up tomorrow after I've driven with one in one headlight and one in another tomorrow.

I'm not even going to bother with different bulbs. I'm gonna go straight to retrofits with new OEM head lights.

I was going to attempt it myself, but the brackets you can buy don't exactly fit Morimoto M 2.0 projectors...they are "off" by about 1/4" for some reason...I'll buy all the shit and let BX do the retrofit...after doing my Tacoma, I have zero interest in doing it myself again.

I have the metaltech I don’t even think I’ve seen someone say anything about the dobinsons. It’s either metaltech or sso

I’m running MetalTech as well, no problems here.
I think the SSO was a little taller.

yeah the Dobinsons states it adds 0.5" lift to whatever coils you use...might see if Metaltech does any BF deals...I know Apache is doing 15% off and their kit is basically the same as Metaltech, dunno if they use OEM isolators though.

It’s cheaper to order the isolators yourself from McGeorge Toyota than to buy them with the metaltech kit

I'm going to order them right now...do you happen to have a part number handy for those isolators, or nah?

they are still like $150 shipped. Might be able to get them on eBay a slight bit cheaper.

You can get 5% off of metaltech from Toytec. Just mention you are a Tacomaworld member.

I’m pretty sure my bags are leaking. Came home and the ass end is sitting on the ground. Haven’t driven it all week.
