I thought about the apaches, especially as they were running a sale, but they are just rebranded overseas arms specc’ed to OEM size ball joints at higher cost than freedom offroad.

I can always swap the moogs out if they don’t last.

What I’ve noticed is multiple manufacturers are bumping msrp on their arms within the past month or so. Idk if that’s in response to people getting covid stimulus or just coincidence.

@Archangel I'm assuming you're Matt L. from the GXOR Carolinas FB page? There's way too many Matts on Tacoma World

Also, did ya'll hear about one of the poor little doggies at Gulches? TJ, their beagle, got hit by a car and they had to put him to sleep. :(:(:(
We just saw him Saturday when we were there! And commented how we thought him running the park with all of those cars was crazy. Of course we don't know if that was the case. It's just very sad.

Question about wiring a winch thru a cut off switch. My first thought was to wire the switch to the ground side as that's how Toyota does things. But now I'm thinking wiring to the positive side would make more sense. That way there's no power going thru the firewall and if something goes wrong, it won't backfeed thru the body ground and you're able to kill power immediately. Does this make sense?

you need a switch rated for at least 300a...

Blue Seas makes one. I'd use it on the positive side.

My winch goes up to 380 amps but only when pulling 10k lbs. The switch is capable of 275 amps continuous, 455 amps for 5 minutes and 1250 amps momentary.

I’m thinking about posting my GX for sale as-is...for some absurd price to see if anyone bites. What y’all think? $15-16k seem good?

I’d let it go for $15k

I could get a 200 series with cash if I sold it and my truck. :anonymous:

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
GX spindles, sandblasted and gusseted cooling down and getting ready for primer and paint. Anybody? These are east coast approved meeting all the rotary girder inline specs inline those west coast sets you see elsewhere. I’m kidding, that only applies to Callahan rotors and pads.
