my office mate has a vinyl cutter and is just finishing up a big job for stickers for a local high school. get me details and i'll ask him about it. he designed the only two decals on my truck (aside from the TRD ones)

Tonight I gave my boss days I can't work. The 22nd - 25th of October just so happened to be on that list.

Now the hard part....telling my parents I'm going to go to NC for 4 days, 3 of those which will be spent in the middle of the woods driving around....

I DO have to do a report on something concerning geography in the US...perhaps something on, say, national forests?

not offended at all. i was just messing with a couple design choices in the beginning, but like I said havent had time at work to mess with it. I dont have any of the vinyl cutters etc to actually produce the decals...

We can get your lift on in a couple hours at poop auto hobby.

Oh, truck is safely at Pinehurst Toyota. Insurance claim is squared away. Parts are ordered. They should be back at it on Tuesday when the parts come in. Final tally paid for by insurance $10,600. Truck will be lucky if it ever sees a dirt road from now on.

In other news, I'm now looking at dual sport motorcycles and I'll hopefully be ready to pull the trigger on one come tax season ;)

Light duty camping trips. Gonna go hardline expo route now. Camping equipment, recovery gear, gonna finish what I start with the tubing around the side and the bed crossbars. But then it's taking the road less traveled to the camp site and looking pretty. And fuck this North Carolina mud. If its gonna get the hubs wet I'm finding another way around.

So anyone need a co-pilot in october?

Seriously. I'm worried the transmission might have gremlins in it but I trust the pinehurst guys not to let anything out of the shop unless it's solid.

Insurance took a recorded statement where I got to explain that military vehicles destroyed an unimproved unpaved access road I've been using for months. Looks less like reckless stupidity and more like a legitimate accident.
