An experienced guy from Uwharrie that does alot of these events said today that as much as he's hearing about our event, he'd be shocked if we didn't have 3500 people there for Saturday (alot of spectators included)...That would be AWESOME but dang I'm getting nervous!!

Here's a question about these trails... My '04 double cab has no armor at all, so how much of a risk would it be to take it for this meet?

    Thanks,

    Marc

a few of the trails are doable.......wolfs den and falls dam.....unless they are super muddy like they were this weekend...your truck should be ok.....maybe even slab pile..depending on weather.....but for most of the rest........at least skids are a good idea.

i ran everything last time with no armor and didn't really scrape at all. but i wouldn't do it wet. also noticed some spots were more eroded than last year but he'd prolly be safe without armor. but i do have a lift and my rear set up is pretty stiff and doesn't slam down like softer suspension does

I heard its pretty dug out down there right now like ND said more than usual. I've been hearing that quiet a but lately...How was Dutch Jon trail? That was the best one to me but maybe since it was a night run... Did ya'll see any of our flyers while ya'll were up there?

most of us only hit wolfs den and falls dam.....the trail;s were so slick, we really didnt wanna risk tearing shit up....cause we could imagine how shitty the "hard trails" were gonna be.

and yep....saw the flyers at the outpost.

I love to see your truck on the trail. It conquers (sp?) with ease.

I just talked to Jon Bundrant (owner of allpro off-road) to let him know how slick everyone has been saying it is out there so instead of bringing his FJ Cruiser all the way out here from Hemet California and not being able to use it, he's bringing his FJ 40 with freakin tractor tires on it lol...Also, He's going to be donating a certificate for a choice of an FJ or Tacoma front bumper AND a certifiacate for your choice for a set of FJ or Tacoma sliders!! Camping Lab also sent us a roof top tent awning to attatch to the top of your truck for the raffle!!:)
