Keep telling yourself that for some reason when they get older they bring more crap because they get involved in the packing process. The kiddo will always NEED their 100 favorite toys that they never play with but have to take.

The rule in our house for trips is if you can’t carry it yourself, you don’t bring it. That’ll start to apply to my son as well more and more as he begins to grasp the concept. Or course, it doesn’t include his necessities like clothes, toiletries, etc. but will pertain to his toys as he gets older.

Might want to make that in one trip mine has gotten smart enough to start playing the system.

For me it is grandkids. And the toys they bring camping ... they find no interest in while camping.
And if power/recharging is limited the tablets have to be rationed. After the shock wears off, they like camping more.

I've had mine outdoors since she was an infant doing stuff. To this day we try and spend as much time as possoble out of doors. My rule with electronics, which all she has is a leap pad and travel dvd player, is it's for the car ride. I may let her watch or.play something at night to wind down but that's it.

Stock again. Tepui RTT Voodoo rack
Does anyone know if you did some drilling you could fit a 2nd gen bed rack in 1st gen? Dimensions are pretty darn close. Just have to mock up connect points?
