Looks to be chunks of metal missing from the yoke ears. Lots of play, loud clunking, and two shops told me to take it to specialty driveshaft shop to see if they could salvage it but they said u joints could not be replaced. IMG_1043.jpg

Selling a like new set of (5) Maxxis Buckshot Mudder 2's in 285/75r17 with less than 3,000 miles on them.

Only have 4 in the picture because the spare hasn't been removed yet, but it has even less miles on it. No patches, plugs or defects.

Looking for $1,000 for the full set of 5. WILL NOT SHIP but will meet within reasonable distance.

Is that part of the shaft or is it part of the U-joint? From what I can see, it looks like its just the U-joint but I'm unfamiliar with the Tom Woods drive shafts. Additionally, what tab is broken off of those headlights? My lights are starting to haze and I intend on polishing them but I'd like to have options. Thanks.

Dibs on that drive shaft. I think I can fix her. But I said the same thing about my first wife.

I also thought it was the U Joint. But two shops that normally do U joints told me they wouldn’t work on it. Went to a driveshaft shop but they wouldn’t look at it until it was off the truck so I said F-it and went back to two piece. Quite honestly the Tom Woods has been a pain since day 1. They shipped with incorrect plates and I had to have a local shop rebuild it with the correct parts after they shipped them to me.

Nope, I’m not sure of anything on this thing. See my description above - 2 shops told me they wouldn’t touch it and I’d need to go to a specialty driveshaft shop to see if it’s salvageable. For that reason I’m setting expectations low.

    but it’s pending pickup tomorrow.

It does look like the Caps, specifically on the double Cardon joint, which are "known to be not replacable". Someone should grab it up and replace the ujoints!

For the crowd curious about the drive shaft I can confirm it’s not the Ujoints. I’ll try to provide better pics. I might tear it down tomorrow

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
Wait, so you are telling me that the two shops that inspected it in person and stated it wasn't the U-joints were right, and the people who looked at a picture on a forum were wrong?
