    I thought about that too but the race is supposed to be at the Embarcadero. In order to fly past Fiesta Island, they'd have to fly into Lindbergh Field's airspace. My guess is that they fly a circuit around North Island/Coronado (that's where they're taking off from). So I'm not sure how much you'd see at Fiesta Island.
