I'm in Dover and trek to Indian River during summer months. I'm starting to see plenty of Tacomas near Camden-Wyoming and on Rt 13.

Had good experiences with Koons Easton Toyota

 

Yes!

Koons was recommended to me by a fellow co-worker (RN/Tech) in Cath Lab (I'm the Materials Guy). Plus, I had visited the Toyota dealership in Dover and wasn't impressed with appearance.

If you're interested in a Tacoma/Tundra or any other vehicle, I can advise a sales rep who took care of me at Koons. I have my 10K mile scheduled MX in Feb/2022.

By the way, I took my Tacoma to Milford, DE (For 5K mile Scheduled MX) and was disappointed with the way the Service Mgr handled my complaint about over-torqued skid plate bolts and one of Air Dam bolt was torqued in at an angle.

There shouldn't be a problem now since I installed the TRD Skid Plate.

Koons has been awesome! We’ve done a Sequoia and FJ both through them. Plus my brothers 3rd gen 4runner service and now my 1st gen Tacoma. They are always super helpful and great to work with!

I totally agree. Can't wait to visit the Service Department come Feb/2022. It's a nice 40+ mile drive from Dover, DE.

EDIT: Recent visit was for touch up paint for a chip on front section of the roof.

 

Any of you guys still getting out on the beach? Striper bite any day now right. 2021 surf tags are good through the end of January according to DNREC.

No, I have not been down to the beach since like August...

I usually visit Dewey to get my fill of craft beer...from Deweybeerco and Big Oyster in Lewes.

I've yet to take my Taco onto the sandy beach and test out the 4H/4L.

Cape is great for lots of activities...bringing the Taco on the beach to surf fish sounds like a great idea. Maybe the wife won't mind coming with...or possibly letting me have a free-day to hang out with a TW member!

She's been blaming this forum for my spending habits...but she also complained about the motorcycle forum I frequented before I bought my Taco.

Hit me up in the summer and we'll see what happens.

Yup. There's a middle, too. And an east & west. You should check it out some time!

 

You'd be surprised the difference between New Castle county and Sussex County. I live in the middle...Kent County.

Lots of farmland here and also Amish presence...which is cool to see little stables for buggies at Walmart.

Enjoy it while it lasts. That Middletown sprawl is heading your way. Right now someone is probably eyeing that farmland for another Amazon Distribution Center and a few more WaWas.

people from Brooklyn, NY are headed this way too! I do see 55 & over communities being built as well as apartments and food places.

The USAF brought me from SoCal/LA to the east coast...been here since 2006...left LA in 1986.

I'm glad we have beach areas for summer fun!

I’m on eastern shore Maryland! Down for a road trip. Have my OSV permit as well if you’re all down for a road trip. Haha mush love from Bruce and I.
