    I believe the cut lines are the same...so get the one you think you want more and you can change it later if needed. You know Tacoma let’s have awesome re-sale value :D

    In my -->opinion<--

    The full plate with no bull bar, OEM model, powdered black...just looks like Toyota itself made the truck. It resembles a stock look to me, it's clean as hell.

    Lee, I just wanted to say the design of these (both the plate & the tube) are so freaking sweet. Have you ever played with or looked at making a similar design for 2nd Gen Tacoma? I know the 3rd Gen is much more angular, but I feel for those willing to cut their truck body work, something could work. Just wondered. Once again, very cool stuff and original compared to a lot of the bumper market out there.

    A couple question for everyone here. I've seen this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uyf2Q0aIh5I&t=2s and I'm wondering if there are any more videos. Also looking to see if anyone can recommend a shop in Colorado who has done this install before.

    how are the light bar mounting tabs now? Are they still in need Of bending and adjustments? Have you guys fixed this issue yet? Assuming that Now if someone orders a bumper with a BD S8 cutout..a S8 light bar should be a direct “drop-in”.

    Dear msgs350, we don't really have a "light bar tab mount issue" per say. They get welded into the inside of the bumper and sometimes they get bent a little bit during the process, all it takes is a rubber mallet and about 15 seconds of your time to fix this. Ideally, it should drop right in and I would say for about 985 bumpers we ship our of every 1000, they do drop right in. Unfortunately, 15 customers out of every 1000 give or take do have to take a rubber mallet and hit it once or twice and it works fine.

    The guide you referenced even suggest slightly bending it a little bit!

    Bruh!

    This truck sits super nice! I love it! How'd the install go?

    Thanks bro. I am super happy with it also. Install was smooth, the winch was my only setback, but completely unrelated to SSO. I need the relocation kit for my Warn Zeon, but other than that it went great. I could possibly cut a bit more under my fogs, but only because I have OCD and the plastic is touching the bumper a bit. I cut a little less because I didn’t want to flirt with cutting too much.

    Is there a measurement for the space available to mount the winch?

    Ok, the mounting tab on my bumper was straight and i NEEDED to bend it to make my light bar fit, so that's why i asked about an issue.

    It does appear that the mounting tab is bent either from something manually, or warped from welding heat. As suggested above, just tap it a few times with a soft rubber mallet or any other hammer of your choosing and your light bar will fall right in. I do apologize for the extra work and like I said 985 of the 1000 don't have to. I apologize you fell into the 15, but in less then 30 seconds it should be fixed!

    Same thing happened to mine but just took a few seconds to fix. No big deal and certainly nothing to gripe about.
