don’t load up your bumper before you do a couple of test fits. I made that mistake and it’s just heavy.

If I put the bumper on will the Bull Bar keep me from putting the grill in? Anybody know? BTW I have a Pro Grill now.

The bull bar will not be in the way, you'll have plenty of room for the pro grill to go on last. :)

For me... the bumper prohibits removing the grille surround. You need to drop the bunper to remove or install the grille.

I have the SSO slimline with a bull bar. No wings.

I know that the BA bumper with a bull bar does not conflict with the grille removal/install. This is because the bull bar sticks out further from the grille.

I kept my wheel well cuts at maybe 1 7/8 from center of the bolt. I didn’t have to cut twice. I think it will be good. Thanks for all the help everyone.
Looks like it’s going to be very tight squeeze on the the Pro grill. I’m not ready to put it in yet so I’m not sure.

I can’t tell you for sure since I don’t have a bull bar. But I think I remember someone saying that if they loosened the bumper they could remove the grill, but not with it torqued down.

The Body Armor bumpers instructions have a relocation kit for the transmission cooler to move it back a few inches.

The SSO bumper instructions doesn’t show this at all.

Anyone had to relocate the transmission oil cooler back on the SSO bumper install

Nope... your trans cooler stays in the factory position.

Interesting. Wonder what is different that you don’t need the relocation? Almost all of them do. Victory4x4 etc etc

All back together and working winch. I didn’t have to take the bumper loose to get the Pro Grill back in but I did have to take the five push pins out of the grill section right below Pro Grill. By doing that I could push the lower part of the grill back enough to put Pro Grill in. Be sure to put the push pins in before you fasten the top part of your grill or else you won’t be able to get to the push pins on lower section. Hope that made sense.

Maybe a half inch. I have 650 lb springs on front. Stock are 600 lbs. I’m right at 38 1/2 with stock tires and wheels. That’s from concrete to finder lined up with center of the wheel.

That's a clever solution... I may use that in the future.

If your taking the grill off with the Bull Bar type bumper, take the two screws and two push pins out of the top off the grill. Lean the grill out as far as you can so you can get to all the push pins right under it. 5 I think. After you get those pins out you can push the lower part of grill in toward the motor and gentle wiggle the long arms on the bottom of the grill out and up. Don't even think about taking the bumper loose

Anyone also running a set of the BAMF front bumper reinforcement bracket? I know there needs to be some modifications done to the BAMF bracket itself to get it to work.

We designed our bumper to be strong enough from the start to not really need these mounts, but also, these mounts remove your crumple zones and we do NOT recommend. If you're a hardcore everyday wheeler, and you want it, I personally can maybe understand it but for the everyday user it's overkill and we don't recommend it with our product.
