Here are the rest of the pics of my truck from this weekend. They are all out of order and I'm way too lazy to organize them :D. I had alot of fun. We did a bunch of pretty difficult trails. I only got a little body damage. I hit both of the back corners of the bed, right before the taillight. I need to bob the bed bad but I'll have to just keep beating it up till I get the time to cut it up.

I played with the tuning on my 7th injector this evening and I've got it running pretty good. But the problem is that I have the injector turned completely off until 6000 rpm at 7.5psi and it is still running a hair rich. I ran it without the air filter just to see if it was dirty and choking it down. It made a little difference but not enough to make it lean out. So I'm going to get some MAF cleaner tomorrow and try that. If that doesn't work then I'll be making a call to gadget to see what he thinks about it.

    Thanks.

Just bought me some pb blaster and deep creep to keep in my toolbox because last weekend my hi-lift locked up with my truck in the air and I had to work the climbing pins with my fingers. You learn real quick where to not put your fingers when working the jack lol. So for everyone that keeps a hi-lift in the bed of their truck and out in the weather, keep a bottle of lubricant close because you'll need it.

Yep that was the reason i went to the auto parts store. I just grabbed that stuff while I was in there. The damn MAF sensor is way more expensive than I remembered. I made sure they had one in stock just in case mine is bad and it is $75 plus $50 core charge. I'm pretty sure that the first one I bought was $75 bucks including the core charge.

I cleaned my MAF last night and it didn't do a damn thing. I just got off the phone with gadget and he doesn't have a clue either because he said that these trucks are suppose to lean out at sea level which is about where I'm at, if not a little below. So I reckon I'm gonna get a MAF sensor and hope that fixes it. Gadget told me to put my wideband gauge in another vehicle to see if its working correctly so I might try that also. I'm lost lol.

Yea it sucks. I just bought a new MAF and that didn't work either. My next option is to test my gauge to see if I'm even getting the correct readings. I really doubt that's my problem because its reading around 14.7:1 in closed loop but its worth a shot. I'm willing to try anything at this point lol.

Well it's been running rich but never thought anything about it. I just assumed the tuning needed some minor adjustments. So Wednesday evening after work I started playing with the tune and ended up having to shut the 7th injector completely off in order to get it close to where I want it, which isn't a good thing because the truck is suppose to lean out without extra fuel.

Anyway, to answer your question, no it's been like this, I'm just now realizing that its an actual issue.

I've been doing a little research and figured out a way to test the sensor without having to pull the gauge and everything out. I'm going to try that when I get off of work. The next thing I'm going to do is pull the blower off and see if I might have left a rag or something laying over the intake ports which would cause it to not be sucking enough air into the motor. The only issue I have with that is the truck runs like a scalded dog. I can light the tires up from a 20mph roll and then spin half way through second and it pulls hard through every gear including 5th. If there really is a rag in the intake, it should run like shit. I know this because one of my friends bought a truck that wasn't hitting on one cylinder only to find a rag shoved in the intake port to that specific cylinder.

Didn't get to see you at speed but didn't notice anything wrong with it while we were wheeling. Hopefully you'll be able to locate the problem and get it all buttoned up before the Krawl. If you need a hand let me know

Oh it runs awesome. That's what is confusing me. Well if all else fails, I'll put the tune that came on it back in and run it like that for the krawl. Alright, I appreciate it man.

In a sense, rich is better than lean. But they say that being too rich will foul o2 sensors, destroy your cats and I know for a fact that it will foul your plugs prematurely. Plus it kills your power, which is my main concern.

I transformed the factory clock into a voltage meter. It was pretty simple and turned out awesome. I also installed a USB charger outlet.
