image.jpg Using this thread to keep progress/maintenance on this little truck. Feel free to comment or criticize!

I bought this 2004 SR5 4x4 with 35,000 miles on it. It is my 2nd vehicle, mainly being used as a hunting truck, and to drive around when i feel like it. It had Bilstien 5100's (set on 3rd notch), Warn M8000, and 285/75/16 Cooper STT's on Chrome wheels when i bought it.

image.jpg image.jpg First thing to go was the wheels/tires. Not a fan ofchrome, plus the tires rubbed terribly in reverse with the wheels cut. So i put the factory steel wheels/BFG's on for the time being until i could trade off the 285/75's.

image.jpg Traded the ugly wheels/tires for some 2nd Gen TRD wheels and 285/75/16 Bridgstone Dualler AT REVOII's. These are temperary tires until i pick out what tires i want in the 265/75/16 flavor.

image.jpg NOTE: I had to add 1/4" floating spacers to make these 285's work without hitting thd upper ball joint. This i DO NOT like. Will be buying tires soon. I would have just kept the factory steelies/BFG's on but the tires were pretty dry rotted from sitting up for 12 years.

That is how the truck sits currently. I just placed a order through Summit for some Redline MT90 and 75w90 to change out the trans/tcase and F&R diffs. The engine oil was just changed, so i will just wait a few thousand miles and put 5w30 Mobil 1 synthetic in.

    -36,3xx miles:
I changed trans/tcase fluid to Redline MT90. Redline 75w90 ordered for front/rear diffs (backordered).
-Installed 265/75/16 Nitto Trail Grapplers. LOVE the tires so far, ride is much better than i thought it would be for a 10 ply tire.

I absolutely love these tires so far. The ride is awesome for a 10 ply.

Hail dents are fixed. Paintless dent repair is awesome! Next is a bedliner. Still looking at products.
