I gave myself the day off today and it wasn't so blasted hot out so I decided to treat my truck to a day of beauty...
I went out and bought some turtle wax rubbing compound and mothers techwax. The rubbing compound didn't work worth a shit so I decided to just wax over the scratches. The wax worked well but the wool bonnet I had for the buffer didn't take it off so I just rubbed it off with a towel. I was again reminded of how great these little trucks are because of how little time it took to wax. She really shined up nicely. I figured while I was at it I might as well clean up the inside. I armor alled everything plastic on the inside and vacuumed it out. It smells so nice now and I got rich from all the change I found under the seats. There was a ton of grass and little rocks in there that fall off of me when I get in from mowing. I don't know what it is about detailing but it just makes you love your truck even more. I just walked around it for like 15 minutes looking at it.

Here's a pic. Didn't take any befores but this is an after

I guess this is kind of a pointless thread but I was just proud of my work. I figured my truck works hard for me so I gotta show her some love in return

Nice job Matt. When I was 16 my first car looked like sh t. You should be proud. Now you need a nice toy to put in the bed of your truck. CD

Looks great, but I think you're confused. A day spa for a Tacoma would be in the mud ;)

Haha I tried that once... Kinda. I dropped a back wheel off the side of a parking lot into a mud puddle and had to back up and gun it just to get out. I dont think my little taco has a prayer in the mud
