    It is excellent.

If you ever want to intuitively understand orbital mechanics, this is the way. Stay away from mechjeb until manual docking gets boring.

KSP2 is coming. Includes a lot more near-scifi tech like bussard drives, Orion, etc, but with real(ish) physics. Colonization.

Yeah that's what I heard. Last I saw the release was still 2020ish to be announced which didn't leave me hopeful. I'd like the physics rework. The lack of gravitational effect inside or outside of certain systems makes things simple but less realistic. Also the fact that things often stop tracking outside of a certain range was a PITA.

If anyone is looking for a youtube channel involving model rocketry and WAY too much nerd factor, BPS.Space is a pretty cool channel.

Dude made his own thrust vectored rocket, and has essentially made model SpaceX rockets with self recovery, etc.

CRS 20 Dragon capsule has left the ISS. This was the last mission for that contract. During the 20 flights, SpaceX delivered over 94,000 lbs of cargo and returned over 74,000 lbs of science experiments.

Took the 6 year old out tonight. Got a close up of the super moon and then swung around to look at Venus. She doesn't have the patience for long sessions, but she really loves looking through the scope.

Keep them inspired and full of wonder.

Pic using the phone-to-the-eyepiece method sucks, but you get the idea.

Put the 9mm Plossl on the Barlow with a moon filter. That cut the brightness the best and gave the best detail on the surface, but it whizzed past the FOV too quickly for a decent pic.

The moon was cool, but Stella loved looking at Venus the best. No particular detail of it this night, but she's got the gears turning about what it means to look at something that is "very, very far away".
