Smack dab in the middle of Memorial Day week- I already took it off!

Here’s to hoping they complete the requisite investigation and parachute testing to keep this on track .

It’s worrisome what all of these are going to do to the sky, just like anything, I have a feeling that Starlink is the narrow edge of the wedge. Once private launch companies become the norm, everyone’s going to be putting a batch of them up there.

On that note, I’m going to try to skip out of work (from home) today and make the 30 min drive out to the Cape with my boys to see Falcon 9 launch another batch of the Starlink installment.

    Post some pics!

Maybe talk to @tcBob about having a launch correspondent for TW.
Use that to get some credentials from NASA so you can get to the press area with the massive countdown clock!

That would be killer! Believe it or not, I’ve lived in East Orlando since 2002 and never ventured out close for a launch, I’ve always been able to see them from my house, so I never bothered. In the last 2 years or so, I’ve begun really getting interested in the current space race now that it’s being field by private innovation.
I’ll definitely post pics if it stays on track, and that there isn’t any authorities blocking people from standing on the side of the road due to the virus.
