Weren't they talking about job site power forever? I mean I'm glad they finally did it, but given the number of contractor with a genset on the back of their pickups...

Don’t fret too much. I’m sure they’re testing out different Raptor swap out procedures as part of the plan to become operational!

The fact they need slight repairs is interesting from a development stand point. If the evolution of Raptor is similar to Merlin, it’s gonna be a beast² in a decade.

I wonder if we will still see a SN9 hop in January, now that this happened.

I’d say yes, assuming they have Raptors on hand. (Been trying to find a site tracking Raptor SNs but haven’t been successful yet..)

So every New Sheppard BO mission carries a sensor dummy they nicknamed Mannequin Skywalker. Who else wants to see him lose all of his limbs and get burnt to a crisp so they can call him Darth Crater?

About 8 minutes away from SLS ignition..

Edit: Good start, early shut down after about a minute or so - maybe due to Thrust Vector Control.

Broadcast was to be desired. I think they indicated it was all set to be barged to KSC..

(Brings a tear to my eye to think those 4 beauties are going to be thrown away after one use.)

Wonder how far away those monsters could be heard?
The amount of engineering involved to safely hold those bad boys down for a test is pretty impressive in itself.

    I dunno.
Spewing uranium laced salt water all over the solar system doesn’t sounfd lile a good idea to me. Esp in the near earth vicinity. Yes, I know space is big but...
