Not just any F9. Crew-2. There were 4 people inside that thing on their way to the ISS.

My kids are young enough that this might happen. My oldest is super interested in space, as well.

 

We are living in a time off historic achievements.

1st stage booster is said to be re-used from the Crew-1 mission.

 

Very cool launch today.

watching the 1st stage descend and then the capsule separate there was a ton of “stuff” visible in the cameras.

im sure it was just unspent fuel or ice but it made me realize that with all the video that is going to be coming back from commercial space in general, we’re going to be seeing lots of “stuff.”

A rocket launch is a bucket list thing for me, you Floridians have a few nice perks to that god awful humidity. Haha

 

Couldn’t find a link but it was reported there was a near miss, 1000 feet, by a piece of space junk and Endeavor. The crew had to suit up and that was that.

Couldn’t help but wonder whose piece of space junk it was and the potentially horrendous ironic possibilities

 

I'm 62, retired Systems Engineer. I wonder if I could be a part time consultant and full time station greeter like at Walmart?

Well, it seems that the new Mars rover has converted enough CO2 into oxygen. 10 minutes worth is their approximation.
