My internet here isnt letting me post new pics for some reason. The umbilical arm that meets Orion seems to have swung wide and Crawler movement might have stalled. Stand by.

The folks on NSF were saying bandwidth on cellular was being maxed out with all the media posting up.

I just have to say, watching SLS rollout is amazing and I this must be what they felt with Apollo rolling out.

Thank you for your hard work to get us here. I was trying to pick you out of the crowd on the NSF cameras.

I'm not sure what I expected an astronaut to drive, but it wasnt a Jeep Renegade. Could be a rental, she calls Mass home.

A record 12th flight for this booster:

SpaceX is targeting Friday, March 18 for a Falcon 9 launch of 53 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The instantaneous launch window is at 11:24 p.m. ET, or 3:24 UTC on March 19, and a backup opportunity is available on Saturday, March 19 at 11:03 p.m. ET, or 3:03 UTC on March 20.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Dragon’s first crew demonstration mission, the RADARSAT Constellation Mission, SXM-7, and eight Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage will return to Earth and land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

You can watch the live launch webcast starting about 15 minutes before liftoff.

I can’t remember the initial Saturn V rollouts but I do remember Apollo 15, 16, and 17 to the extent they were covered. Fragments of the earlier missions are jumbled for me.

Widespread interest had waned significantly after the earlier mission and access to pics and videos were limited to clips on the evening news. I remember the highlights of launch, being on the moon and splashdown being covered.

There were no entrepreneurs like NSF, Everyday Astronaut drumming up public interest. And there certainly no ‘new space’ companies around at the time.

Others may have better recollections or experiences than me…

Access to current and historical events nowadays is simply amazing.

I definitely feel grateful for all the access we have now days. I got to watch a historic moment, with no commercials or ignorant commentary while lying in my bed eating chocolate chip cookies.

Interesting to find NASA TV covering the launch of all Russian, MS-21 crew.

I assume NASA TV covers the launches since the Ruskies are "partners" with NASA - at least for now.

It appears the Russian space program is suffering under Putin.

Indeed, under Putstin and his lackey…

2 orbits to docking - a bit later this afternoon.

    NASA TV will cover it.
