Honestly, I really would laugh so damn hard at the irony. 10 billion down the drain in half a second.

This isn't my theory, I'm simply repeating the belief of someone who has been involved in launching rockets longer than I've been alive.

I wasn't speaking to what may happen should an anomaly occur, I'm speaking to what might happen during a normal Starship launch. I hope Starship does come to KSC and successfully launch. That would be great for myself and my shop. Either way, it's a great time to be in the Aerospace industry.

We'll have to see - like I said, either we believe SpX has done the modeling on the acoustics and vibration (basically slightly more than FH) that they put into their EA for permitting, and that it's pretty accurate, or they're completely offbase with it.

    Via https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/f..._eis/FEIS_SpaceX_Texas_Launch_Site_Vol_II.pdf and https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/f...acex_starship/Appendix_B_Noise_Assessment.pdf

    upload_2022-5-18_11-48-18.jpgupload_2022-5-18_11-48-57.jpg

Per the approved EIS (F9/FH) the Port Isabel entrance is modeled at 125db, while starship's is modeling it at about 105db.

I'm so confused. I thought Starliner was on top of SLS?

Starliner is Boeings capsule headed to ISS on United Launch Alliance rocket. Orion is the SLS capsule.

I keep confusing them too since neither is operate yet. Have they located a more reliable supply of rocket motors for the ULA rocket?
