    I don't how to answer that. I've been thinking about it.

    I guess I was very territorial with NASA, and didn't want to give that up.

    Of course, SpaceX proved they were up to the task - and probably surpassed NASA. But still, it is hard to see a SpaceX launch platform on Pad 39A.

    But, it's history, and I will get over it. Must look forward - remember the past, but do not dwell on it.

    I can see that. NASA has such a storied history in space that it's hard to see someone come in and "take over". I feel like SpaceX is what NASA could have been and should have been had Boeing and other space flight companies not added so much bloat. And, of course, that leaves out all of the politics of the past 20-30 years as well.

    The politics (and politicians) are what really hurt the space program. What was a great idea was just passed away.

    Yeah, I barely remember shuttle launches, and when they did away with it completely in 2011; I remember thinking, "Wow, we will probably never go to the moon again."
