I’ll check it out after work but I’ll be real surprised if the actual collision amounts to much more than a big puff. A positive outcome is still likely to be otherwise undetectable to the naked eye. Pretty amazing accomplishment nonetheless.

@bagleboy I asked a couple of people what the stacks of things at the Starbase launch site are, and the conclusion is, "We don't know for sure, but it appears to be a berm extension."

 

The MSDS safety people will be very upset when they learn this fact.

I thought they got an extension already in which case they could just roll back out again after the storm passes and could be back at the pad certainly in time for 10/02.

 

The Twitter pundits are all speculating it’s NET November… Some are saying 2023..

 

This is what I am thinking too. Why not just light the candle and get it over with? You don't have to worry about FTS batteries after it launches.
