    "Experimental" in that they're attempting to land both side boosters on drone ships? Or is any recovery of boosters/core still considered experimental? -would seem odd, imo, considering how many, and consecutive landings on drone ships they've had.

    There haven’t even that many Falcon Heavy launches so this could be the first dual drone ship landing.

    It is an experiment to land two boosters fron one FH launch. It’s never been done before.

    As for the single booster landing on a drone ship, it looks to be operational at this point but I don’t know if it has been declared as such.

    I thought you were wrong, because I remember USSF-44 was going to land on drone ships but they changed the side booster landing profile to RTLS a day or 2 before launch.

    What are the implications/effects of labeling it experimental vs operational from an oversight perspective? From a SpaceX perspective?

    More "leniency" on deviations from filed plans?
