It's ok. It's doubtful SpaceX wants it. They're working on creating a rocket factory there, and moving starships to the VAB would take more time and planning then they'd want.

So yesterday there were reports of the first Electron launch for HASTE out of Wallops. No coverage, no reports (at least that I’ve seen). Then this pops up:

Agreed, they need their own dedicated facilities for payload management and fitting out crew versions. I could see them doing some parts of the crew section with the current ring production but ultimately they’ll need a dedicated building for fitting them out adjacent to storage for all the equipment even if it’s just in time delivery. Same for satellite integration. I’d think they’d want those at least five miles from the launch facility to avoid having to shut down and evacuate for every launch. The assembly building at SLC 40 is fine for F9 but probably too low and too close for Starship fitting and launches.

 

They are moving foreign payload processing to Area 59 at the Dragon processing facility leaving the PPF at 40 open for their own payloads. Big shakeup with their tech groups as well. They obviously want their best assets allocated for Starship duty.
