    Yes, TEA-TEB is hypergolic, but I assumed it is used up completely in the ignitions of the Merlins. I'm sure @Hunterdc1 would know more/better.

    I assumed it was about flushing the RP-1 w/capture, venting O2, and pressurizing both tanks for transport. TEA-TEB tanks might not need or want messing with outside of a controlled environment. Happy to learn what really happens. I’ve always wondered why they spend a day at port before going back to the factory.

    Seems to be a pattern. I’m thinking (because I’m completely uneducated on these things) it’s design and QA issues where it’s made.

    There are stories out there Starliner, if it does become ‘operational’, won’t last beyond its current contract.

    It’s a huge fall/fail for them but then again, QA issues seem to be their thing nowadays. I just hope there’s no fatalities.
