SpaceX has relied heavily on NASA contractors in the past for commodity support. Specifically helium and gn2. They are building the necessary facilities and pipeline to support offloads and launches themselves. SpaceX a lot sooner than Blue but both are coming.

 

Probably not likely since no way in hell is Star liner ready to go again even that far out

Also, it’s being reported IFT-5 would need a license modification if they want the booster to return to the tower.

Yeah, it was weird. Cold War was a long way from over but at least some recognized there were things we needed partners for (shaking hands with yourself is anticlimactic).

 

I'm not sure how much of a license modification they would need. Especially with not needing a mishap investigation for IFT4. I do know that the FCC has already given the modification for catch attempt, but that's the easy one.

 

Huh, got a source or link? The last license I scanned had the booster in the gulf and ship over in the Indian Ocean.
