    I'd like to think Elon would fix NASA, rather than replace it.

    Yes, NASA is only(?) political these days. Really sad how a fantastic agency could fall so far down. There are still good/smart people there, but the leadership needs radial changing. (They were DEI before DEI was a thing...)

    But I would guess it wasn’t. Those Apollo suits were made to handle direct sunlight and full shadow.

    The G forces the ship goes through in the flip and burn maneuver will need to be same or less than what is experienced during launch. I know that maneuver gives some people the willies to think about doing it with people, but I'd still do it.
