It seems he does. Maybe that’s why he has a terraformed Mars on his website and video feeds:D

Unfortunately, you know not of what you speak.

The Artemis program is not a Charlie Foxtrot - it is behind schedule (way behind), but it is progressing.

And, the SLS is designed for heavy lifting beyond Earth orbit - hence, a moon mission.

    Interesting prediction, but very doubtful.

As of today, only NASA has a rocket qualified to launch humans. And, only NASA has (currently in development) the capability to lift the required mass into space.

But, the long term plan is very close to your idea. ;)

    Fake news.

Which rocket does NASA have that’s human rated certified/qualified and in service currently?
The only ones I know of are Russian and Chinese.

Also, you might want to bone up on the current state of Heavy Lift vehicles... Many of them well exceed the payload to launch humans into space. (I do not know why the SLS isn't listed in under development.)

How many Billion dollars is the SLS over budget?
How many different companies (many who have no space experience) are involved?
I'd call that a Charlie Foxtrot

Where was my earth shattering kaboom?

Slight hyperbole. But Orion+ESM and a upper stage can be lofted in two pieces by Falcon Heavy / D4H, at a fraction of the cost of a SLS Block 1. Then as neither are man rated, a third F9/Crew Dragon launch for the crew (since man rating should be done RSN). See https://arstechnica.com/science/201...on-heavy-rocket-could-fly-humans-to-the-moon/

Block 2 and EUS isn't even funded yet. Good luck with that billion a pop expendable monster when in the same time (assuming all goes well), they're launching starships for the cost of fuel at a million or two a pop.

"billion a pop expendable monster" - It's the death knell of the program.

Update for the earth shattering kaboon remains as @R77toy reported . Let the floodgates open!

Didn't get to watch it live, but it was cool to think that it all happened within 5-10 minutes.

A few more seconds and the video would have shown the booster doing this:

    Thanks @0xDEADBEEF ,
Didn’t know each booster had it own Wikipedia page. I’m guessing the Dragons each have their own too??

I gotta say, I’m pretty stoked this test was a success. Once they get going, they’re going to finally fulfill the promise of the Space Shuttle - routine, low-cost flights with reusable spacecraft.
