Spacer + Fox coilover

    There are two separate issues here, and a spacer isn't the proper fix for either one.

    A spacer will change the extended and collapsed lengths. So now you'll bottom out on the coilover and overextend the ball joints.

    If you're rubbing your tires are too big and you need to move the bump stop down on the frame. I believe there are aftermarket bump stops and spacers to accomplish this.

    If you've added weight you probably need new springs. It's unfortunate, but the reality of fine tuned suspension. We swap springs on off-road trucks all the time because of different weights. Only makes sense that you might have to change them on a Tacoma.

    So the tighter you make the coil over the more lift? I’m confused I thought adjusting the shock longer made more lift?
