I've been contemplating the TRD Pro suspension and am concerned about ending up nose high. It seems like a rear spacer to correct this would be the easiest solution if all one needed was 1/4" or 1/2".

I see everyone say **NO** to spacers on the forum. This is all new to me.

I don't off-road. Just lots of driving in farm fields and pastures.

----What is so bad about spacers in a case like this?----

TRD Pro suspension will level your truck, you won't be left nose high. Look up photos of any 2nd Gen TRD Pro.

If you're looking to lift the rear with spacers or "blocks" you have to be careful with your shock choice. You're adding lift without changing shock travel. If the TRD Pro rear shocks are like the Bilstein 5160's you're okay for up to about an inch and a half of rear lift before you're risking damaging the shocks. I don't believe it's recommended to run blocks on the Yellow TRD Bilstein shocks or the Black SR5 shocks.

But to answer your question, adding blocks to the rear increases the chance of axle wrap. At 1/4" or 1/2" I doubt you'd have any issues, though. But like I said if you add the TRD Pro factory suspension to your truck you shouldn't be nose high if everything is installed correctly.

Thanks! That's the kind of info I was looking for regarding spacers.
