Looking to fatten the stance. Inch and a quarter? There are expensive ones and cheap ones. What is your experience? Hub-centric looks best, then what seperates them apart? How about interaction with brakes. Anthing to be concerne with? Thanks Taco family!

Unless you are absolutely in love with the OE wheels, buy wheels with the offset you are looking for. Spacers introduce a point of failure.

I also have had spidertrax 1.25 for years and have not had any issues with them. A lot of people are dead set against spacers and a lot of people like them.

I went with spidertrax over cheaper alternatives because from my research they seemed to be a reputable brand that a ton of people on here recommend. I can’t say for sure if there is a difference between spidertrax and cheaper brands (as I have never used any other brand spacer), but for me personally I wanted peace of mind knowing the product was going to hold up and my wheels weren’t going to fall off, so I spent a little more to get what I wanted. I have not regretted running spacers at all and really like the increased stance.

One thing I can say is spacers can potentially make your tires rub and you may have to trim if you have larger than stock tires (when I had them on my stock TRD off road wheels and tires I had no issues at all, but tried them with 265 70 17 TRD pro 4 runner wheels and tires and had slight plastic rubbing and very close to body mount) Hard to say if yours will rub without knowing what your wheel and tire setup is, but something to look into and be aware of.

here’s mine stock with wheel spacers, just enough to make it look a little more aggressive

here it with 285 75 16 scs ray 10 16x8 wheels and spidertrax 1.25 spacers

hope this helps a bit! I never looked back after deciding to use them.

I'm waiting for my bora 1.25 to come in. Probably should have went 1.5 haha. Important thing with spacers is to install correctly. Aluminium hub with steel studs

Hey nonametacoman, thanks for taking the time to post pics. I see a lot of positives about Spidertrax spacers, but wow, what a premium price over others.
By the way, this is what I love about forums...sharing. It is great learning from others. So many mistakes avoided by reading. My wife knows I am a car guy. I have bought and sold probably 20 cars and trucks since I was 18. I buy them, pimp them out, run them for a few years and go get something else. My new taco will be getting some badges, and accessories soon. Spacers first. Maybe new wheels before winter. I am also looking for a nice bull bar or push bar for front. I don't want anything crazy big, but I do like the look with someM Day 2020.jpg LED bars.

There are some things I might cheap-out on, but wheel spacers aren’t one of them. I researched and then bought Spidertrax 1.25”. I think Bora is equal in quality, but I got the Spidertrax for less.....
