I just picked up a cvt mt. Rainier tent and need some help on spacing it up a little higher on my prinsu. I am running a snug top shell and full prinsu racks on cab and shell. The rainier is 72” long so sticks over the cab a bit on my shortbed. Problem is the racks are the same height so when I mount it to the rear rack it is laying on a couple load bars on the front rack. I’d like to lift it up off the rack a bit so it’s not touching the front when the cab/bed flex. Is there a way people lift the tent up on the rack?

It keeps the rack powder coating from getting scratched, and a few stacked washers serve as a guide for sliding the tent rail on...I just fabbed them from a cheap cutting board.C6A8D955-C144-4EED-9A40-ADB94F35C13D.jpg

That's pretty slick. Not a bad idea.
