    Hello Everybody! :)

I have an 05 Taco Pre 2.7 5spd 2wd and it has a Revtek 3" spacer kit and 285/75/16 BFW Muds with the ride from Hell! It is so stiff that my teeth will clatter going over an unknown speed bump! I swear I have driven a U-haul with a better ride :(. I do very little off road (maybe a little mud, sand and trail) so basically want a comfortable DD with a nice ride height, decent mpg and some capability.
So I ordered some 5100's from DSM (only $283!), new lower ball joints, new tie-rod ends and going to get some Hankooks 245/75/16 or 265/75/16 next week. And yes I did use the search function, but it did not answer the questions for my specific setup so I figured I would ask the experts :D My questions are:

    1. what leaf pack and adjustment of the 5100s should I go with to get about 2" level lift?
    2. what other parts are needed since I will be replacing the above components? (bushing, shims, etc)
    3. If I go with the 2" level lift will the 245s look to small or will 265s be better (keeping mpg in mind)?

I think 1.75" will make the front level with a stock rear end.

2.5" up front and 1.5" lift on rear will also be pretty level.

    not sure on 2" numbers.

265's will look good, I think the 245's will look kind of silly. I got 20.2 mpg this weekend out of my 4 door, v6 taco with 265's. Im sure you will still get god mileage out of yours

    Thanks for the input guys.

I want to go ahead and repalce the leafs since I'm already going to be down there, unless the factory ones will be for another 90k miles?

Basically I want to go 2" from factory but want the front and back to be at the same level...my antena smacks every beam at the parking garage at work with the 3", plus my girl isnt a fan of the climb to get in even with the N-fabs

So looks like 265s it is :D

Perhaps I should just go ahead and just set to 1.75 and use the stock components to see what the height and comfort is?

If I go with OME springs up front and OME leafs in back will my 5100s have enough travel and would I need new UCAs

OME leafs are for a 3" lift and are stiff.

you dont need to do anything to your rear, leave that factory, do either eibach coils in the front or 5100's set at 1.75" and you will be level

5100's front set to .85 w/eibach springs, 5100 rear w/toytec 2"AAL, Light Race UCA, 17" Black Rhino Ocotillo wheels, 265/70/17 KO2's, K&N drop in filter, Grill Craft front mesh, one piece driveshaft (vibes gone) rear diff breather mod, BHLM, Fog anytime, 886 reverse bulbs.
I put eibach coils with billlies up front set at .85. It lifted bout 2.5" up front with 2" toytec aal and billies in the back. It's pretty level minor rake but that's how I like it so if I tow or haul I won't be nose high. This is a popular setup and it rides smooth! Pics in my gallery
