2011 Prerunner TRD Sport

New to the wheels, rims suspension and the likes. I have a 11 Tacoma with stock tires and rims(265/65-17 BS Duelers). I'm looking to have a wider base and was looking at 1.5" spacers. Would I have to lift or mod to install these? Thanks for the input.
