So who here has a Gen3 with spacers while still running the stock suspension and stock wheels & tires?

Do you have any rubbing issues with the spacers?

I’m interested in a wheel that has a 1mm offset; my stock Off-Road wheels have a 25mm offset. So that should be roughly the equivalent of a 1” spacer, no?

I’d be keeping with the stock tire width, 265, on the new wheels.

Trying to determine what will fit without necessitating any trimming or cutting of the frame.

I would *think* anyone who’s running a 1” (or larger) spacer without rubbing would net me the same result.

    For reference:

Stock wheels and tires = 16x7 ET25 with 265/70-16 tires.

    What I’d like to install = 18x9 ET1 with 265/60-18 tires.

    Thx.

I believe most people who run spacers are using the Spidertrax, which only come in 1.25" as far as I know. Since you are putting 265's on, I don't see any issues with rubbing. With 285's it might be an issue, though.

You're going to be running the exact same size. Why would you need a spacer?

Not looking to add a spacer.

I was told my set-up should fit but there might be some trimming involved. "Should" but with some trimming has me apprehensive to drop this coin on new wheels and tires to not have them fit...

so I switched from 265 65 17x7.5 et 30 to 265 70 17x8 et 0 and had some rub in the middle of my front OEM mudflaps. So I took them off (the mudflaps). But that was also a 1" difference in height of the tire.

Edit to add, yes, the offset is just about equivalent to a 1" spacer. You will probably be just fine.
