Spacers

Has anyone done 2” spacers on a ‘23 TRD Off Road? I see online some have and they’re happy. However, the reps at KSP discouraged it and recommended 1.25” which is not the look I’m going for. Any input is appreciated.

 

Had 1.25" spacers on my 2nd gen and loved the look. Wheels stuck out just enough to look good.

I sold the truck, but still have the 1.25" SpiderTrax spacers if you're looking for a cheaper way to get some spacers.

 

Much appreciated. 1.25 is the largest we can run without removing mudflaps, correct? I’m not looking for used but thank you.

Curious as to why you don't just find a wheel with the offset you like? Trying to stick with oem wheels?

 

For now OEM wheels, yes. That will change when I lift. Spacers are cheap.

If you cheap out yeah they're cheap. 1.25" spacers from Bora for oem wheels are $73 a piece. Why not just save up and do everything at once? Not bashing you just curious.

 

That’s cheap. I don’t need to save up, my shop is booked out 6 months and I can’t stand looking at it stock.

 

Remember to purchase a high quality spacer and not a cheap one!

 

Where are you located? There's a handful of us on the forum that can do installs.

 

Not doing the spacers. Mechanic outright refuses because all they do is “ruin bearings, etc.” He doesn’t F around and charges me $50/hr labor even if I bring in the parts. That’s more than $50 less than anyone within 100 miles. So, next is finding the widest tire I can put on stock ‘23 TRD Off Road wheels w/o rubbing… So many different answers out there.

 

Tallest would be 255/85/16. If you don't want skinny go 265/75/16. Here's a link to a good tool to see tire differences

265 is stock though. I won’t gain any width, looking for a wider stance…

 

I believe stock size is 265/70/16. Do you want wider tires or wider stance? If the latter, you need different wheels or spacers.

 

Wider tires will give a wider stance, no? 16s should take 280s (I think) Def 275s. Won’t do spacers.
