Does any one know if an Icon 2.5 spanner wrench will work with the Fox 2.5 non-resi coil overs. I like the 2 pin style of the Icon. Thanks.

Probably wont. ICON has larger round pins on the spanner, where as the fox is a smaller square pin. You can use a fox spanner on ICON (we recommend hitting the pin with sand paper cause the sharp edges will scratch the finish) but not the other way around.

Im glad you called in and are happy with the service!! Its probably much faster service than waiting for me to respond to PMs.

We have those ready to ship, they are pretty pricey cause of the nice billet material and engraving etc. We have a cheapy lasercut steel one for just $20 shipped. Either way these will work great.

The thing about Fox, they use two sizes of collar locks, so two size spanners needed normally.

    803-00-732 - 2.5 Aluminum Coil-Over Preload Spanner Wrench
    803-00-733 - 2.5 Aluminum Coil-Over Backup Spanner Wrench

You can get away with just one if you add spring preload, then loosen the lower collar and unscrew by hand.

Thanks for your help . I will take the $20 steel one. My 2.5 Fox coilovers only came with one adjustment collar. I called Fox and they said that that's the way that model is built for my truck there is a Allen head lock bolt in the collar that you loosen to make adjustments and then torque when done. All of the pics I have seen from the 2.5 factory series have two collars but I guess that now fox is using one with the lock bolt similar design of how Icons coil overs are set up.

Chas can you send me a invoice for the spanner ?
