spare key for surfing purposes?

    tacobot, new oem transponder keys are like $10 bucks on ebay, if u want to have the actual logo (that little stuff matters to me :)) I'm thinking you could prob buy those, and bring them in to a walmart or homedepot to program it

    if u were gonna go that route, try checking with homedepot or walmart to see if they would program a key u bought somewhere else, sometimes they have policies against that, but i think it really depends on who you talk to, and how nice they are feeling.

    1" lift from 3rd gen suspension, 265/75/16 ATs
    Funny, just about a week ago after a long hike in the Death Canyon of Tetons NP I noticed another nice Tacoma parked next to mine in the parking lot. It had some sort of a lift kit installed and out of curiousity I went to check what kind of setup it has. There was a spare key right on top of the coilover assembly. :eek:
