Took my Tacoma into the dealer today for the 1st oil change under the Toyota Care program. While they had it in shop they washed & dried it (thanks), but they also claim to have performed a recall/TSB thing, something about the spare tire mount.

Have to be honest, I never really looked at the old one so I have no idea what got changed. Most everybody on here knows more about the Tacoma than me (1st time & only 5K mile owner), so anybody know what constituted the change? And yes, I know I should have stayed and asked, but it took them a long time to do the wash/dry thing and I had to get going.

If it helps, I think the reference is SSC BOB

You sure they weren't checking the tireS pursuant to the recall on certain OEM tires?

If you have replacement tires, maybe they would have checked your spare to see if it was one of the OEM tires under the recall.
