    What exactly is wrong? Are you having a hard time getting the spare tire dropped down?

    If yes - get a 'buddy' and one person crank it down while the other person lay under the truck pulling down on the spare tire.

    If you manage to get the spare tire down - take it off.....get up in there and spray some WD40 or similar 'light' lubricate on cable & mechanism. Then, crank it Up & down several times without the spare tire in it to help lubricate and free things up.
