Spare Tire in Bed Options?

After a little over a year with mine I am trying to figure out what to carry regularly. I take a second spare tire with me off roading and really most of the time. It lays flat in the bed. I def don't want anything hanging off the bed rail. About 2 times a year I need full access to the bed so it just comes out and sits in the garage. Ideally I would like some sort of ratchet strap setup that when removed leaves the bed flat (or mostly flat-a couple eyelets are ok). The wilco piece is nice but when the tire is removed the mount is intrusive. I am thinking with mounting 3 eyelet/d rings semi flush in the bed. They make nice 3 way ratchet straps for tires. Not sure if I need to remove components to access the underside. Then the next idea is how to mount a 5 gallon VP fuel can. I like having it, even empty with me all the time. But quick removal is nice for the 2 times a year I need full access to the bed. A recovery strap just hangs out loose in the bed, as does an extra long 1/2 inch drive breaker bar.
