Somebody stole yer spare. If it came off while driving you would have noticed when it broke free from your truck.

My '08 has a sensor in the spare ---> I got a flat yesterday and am rolling my spare right now.

Drive around town and see if your light goes out if it does you have found your tire! Might take a few tanks of gas though. Yeah they are pretty easy to steal.

You would probably find it on CL.. Kind of goes with the tailgate thefts. It is a shame folks have to steal ..Get you a nike cable lock and lock the next one up..

I am in norcal, east bay area. That is very kind of you. Do you know if this rim has the TMPS sensor? If so I'll take it and just get a new tire. Let me know please.

Definitely investing in a lock for the spare!

That's due to an extremely exaggerated dealer price. The Toyota OEM steel wheel was about $50 when I bought my winter tires/wheels last year. Tire is $110+ depending on what you get. A single TPMS sensor is less than $50. Call up the TireRack, they should be able to sell you a single wheel-tire assembly, already mounted and balanced, with the sensor installed. You then take the assembly to the dealer to register the new sensor with the vehicle's TPMS ECU.

No, its just a spare to save your ass till you can get yourself to the shop and get yours repaired. If you drive on your spare continously, then your an idiot. But if you wanna save yourself from the hassle.

Your tpms light on is no harm to your truck. So you dont need a sensor. Tpms is for idiots

Nothing wrong with TPMS. Bi-weekly manual tire pressure checks sound trivial until the weather turns bad or you are running late.

Yea, I don't see how TPMS for idiots... I'm sure its saved a few idiots that don't check their tire pressure.

I still check mine every fillup, but damn. It's nice to have that feature there if there is some slow leak that I don't catch between fillups.

It *is* nice. Just an extra hassle and expense when it comes to changing tires & wheels.

Expense? Hassle? Unless Discount slipped something in, they included that crap when they changed my tires. Granted, I've only bought new tires for this truck once.

    my comment:
I agree!!! If you don't report him you are guilty of allowing this to happen and are by default promoting it. How would YOU feel if your tire was stolen? Or, how would you feel if your tail gate was stolen??? People work hard for their money, and some asshole should not be allowed to come by and take it from you!!!

Learn to not be lazy and wait for a light to tell you gotta check your tire pressure.

Man, America is really a bunch of lazy bums.
I notice that at work, and alot of other things.
