I’ve seen this question before but been awhile so I’ll ask again:

Looking at going up to 17”s. How big of a tire can I go while still still being able to mount a spare under the bed?

    thank you!

You will most likely hear this a lot “it depends”. I have 285/70/17 BFG KO2’s and it doesn’t fit without a mod. I’ve seen in the threads people with other brands be able to do it. I decided to go with the SDHQ bed mount. I like it better anyways - hidden in the bed and it’s a royal pain under removing it/installing it. If you haven’t yet with the stock one, lower remove and reinstall it will let you know quickly if you want a bigger tire under there.

I went with the Ridged. it’s a bit of a pain but still better than putting it underneath.
