Spare tire not matched?

You can check the date code on the tire just to see if it’s noticeably older than the truck production date.

I would think you’d likely have a early to mid 2016 production date on the tire and either a late 2016 or 2017 production date on the rest.

My spare is a different brand than the 4 tires as well. Must be common practice.

 

My Pro came with the same crappy Goodyear AT Kevlar as a spare as it did on all four wheels.

 

Oh yeah? Well my OR also came with 5 of those crappy Goodyear Kevlars AND 4 ugly alloy stock rims!

 

My 2017 trd sport had A30s stock and has the Firestone spare as well

 

The spare could have stolen off the truck sitting at the dealer and they replaced it with that one. I have a friend who works at a dealer and he said in the past few months they've had over 20 spares stolen so they are putting the crappy factory locks on them as soon as they come in.
