Spare Tire Removal Tool

    06 Tacoma 4X4 Manual 6 Speed
    When I bought my tacoma it didn't have the tool needed to lower the spare tire. A new one from the dealership costs over $100. Has anyone successfully made their own? Is there a certain socket size that would fit over the nut and allow me to use a socket wrench with an extension to rotate it?
