Spare tire/ wheel question

    I'm looking to get a full size spare tire and wheel. I found some BFG KM2's cheap and local that are 285/70/17's and I have 285/75/16's. I used the tire size calculator and the specs are a little different.

    Would this be able to get me off the trail if I got a flat? Would it cause any damage or anything to my truck? Thanks in advance.

    Sorry if this has already been discussed. I searched for the answer and read a bit but wasn't sure if it answered my exact question.
