I've had both 60 and 48" hilifts. Had trouble fitting the 60 in my short bed with the mounts I am using so moved to a 48. Probably could have just chopped the 60 down a few inches as well.

48" is typically enough for most situations, and is more versatile for mounting, but of course 60 gives more confidence if you're planning to be in situations that require really high jacking.

Get another one anyways so you can do 5 tire rotations

5 tire rotations sucks on these because there's only 4 TPMS sensors.

How do you keep the wear patterns even when you do 5 tire rotations?

I fit a 285/75/16 on a 8" wheel in the spare tire location. I also modified by doing a exhaust over axle dump and bending one of the footings.

Somehow the tire place that did my install were able to get it back in it's stock spot. I'm guessing it wasn't easy though. I tried and gave up, which is why it's now locked in my bed until I get a HC rear with swingout.

Weird, everywhere I read said I'd need to bend the footings, but I fit 285/70r17 on 8.5" wheel in the spare tire location and only had to move the exhaust an inch out.
